曲突徙薪无恩泽，焦头烂额为上客

一个比较冷僻的成语 [曲突徙薪] ，出自《汉书.霍光传》里的故事：

有户人家造了一栋房子，邻居亲友都前来祝贺，大家纷纷称赞这房子建得好。主人听了心花怒放。

但有个情商低的客人，里外看了一圈，却偏偏不识相地向主人提出：“ 您家厨房里的烟囱是从灶膛上端笔直通上屋顶的，这样灶膛的火星很容易飞出烟囱，落到房顶上引起火灾。您最好改一改，在灶膛与烟囱之间加一段弯曲的通道。这样就安全多了。”顿了顿，客人又说：“您家在炉灶口前堆放了那么多柴草，这样也很危险，一旦起火会烧成一片，还是搬远一点好。”

主人听了觉得这家伙很不识相，在这种庆贺场合没事找事故意出他的洋相，心里很不高兴，鼻子里哼了一声就当耳边风了。过了不久，新房子果然由于厨房里的毛病起火了。左邻右舍齐心协力帮忙，拼命扑救，焦头烂额，才把火给灭了，幸好没把房子烧光。

主人非常感激，专门摆了酒席，并把帮忙救火的街坊邻居请到上座入席，唯独没有请当初那位提出忠告的人。这就是 “焦头烂额座上宾，曲突徙薪靠边站” 的由来。

有人补缀了一段后续

席间有人看不过去，善意提醒主人：“您把帮助救火的人都请来了，可为什么不请那位最早建议您改砌烟囱、搬开柴草的人呢？如果您当初听了他的建议，就不会发生这场火灾了。现在论功请客，怎么反而不请对您提出忠告的人呢？

主人听了以后，义正辞严地正告对方：“这是我的家事，一切都由我们自己做主！我家一贯充满正能量，新房子更需要正能量。这家伙不肯增加正能量也就算了，反而公然扇风点火，污蔑我家新房子设计不好管理不善，却对我家屋子的优点视而不见，只盯着一-点小问题。而且如果不是他乌鸦嘴说那些不吉利的话，这一切根本不会发生，怎么会发生火灾这么倒霉的事情？今天这么多亲朋好友冒着生命危险与烈火奋战，并且赢得了救火救房的最终胜利，你不肯歌颂他们满满的正能量也就罢了，反而替那个自以为是的家伙张目！他能代表谁？他最多不过是一小撮，只能代表他自己。而我们才是绝大多数，也是正能量的以代人。好好长点心吧你！

Office 2007 too slow

About one week ago, I have taken part in a training for some banking software. The presentation is written with power point 2007 which looks beautiful. Yesterday after trying word 2007, I abandoned it because it is too slow when opening doc files whose size is more than 5MB.
After removing office 2007, still work with office 2003.

Can not access sites defined in local hosts file from firefox

It is really strange that from firefox I can not access the web sites defined in my local hosts file.
But when trying the CLI browser lynx, it works as preferred.

Bind log stopped with log rotation configuration on ubuntu hardy

Today I found the bind query log had stopped for over 24 hours.

When looking for the reason, the logging configuration was checked but
everything is ok there.

Finally it is found that here is something wrong with the apparmor
configuration, which have to be fixed.

Just add the following
/var/log/named/ rw,
to
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.named
and reload bind with
rdnc reload

LVM Volume Group not found when booting debian on sun250

Today just want to install debian 5.0.0 on an old sun 250 sparc.

Then "memory not aligned" message was prompted when booting from the debian 5.0.0 netinst CD.

After googling, a very simple solution is found.

Turn off your server, and disconnect the power supply cable. Wait about
twice minutes and then turn on the server. Before do poweroff, I recommend
change the default load to CDROM device in order to avoid boot from Harddisk
device.

上海付费通网站版本升级了

2009/08/03起上海付费通网站版本升级了。告诉各位用ie4linux的朋友们一个不幸的消息，网站新版本在ie4linux下的显示结果和firefox是一样的。以前用ie4linux上这个网站的改用虚拟机吧。

上海乃至整个中国对微软的友好程度再一次得到了证实。微软没有把总部搬到中国，真是不够意思啊。

现在整个上海为了所谓的世博会大搞基础建设，同时还在为了欢迎世博而“树新风”，为了和国际接轨，更换了大批的公交车，马上还要停止使用90号汽油，93号汽油为了降低污染品质升级也要涨价。如此种种，平民百姓要付出多少暂且不说，我们的“高科技”的信息化系统怎么就没有和国际接轨？还是在中国，微软的东西就等同于国际化？如果真是这样，那这么多年的学费真是白交了。

梦做了这些年还没醒吗，自力更生这个词现在就不合时宜了？

今年从国内访问blogspot.com和blogger.com一直不太正常，实在是忍受不了，于是google到可以通过tor来跳过一些限制。
在linux上实在是很简单就实现了。下面以ubuntu为例简单说明。

sudo apt-get install tor
在firefox里安装FoxyProxy插件，并且设置一些pattern下使用proxy访问

比如这样的pattern：*blogger.com/* , *blogspot.com/*
proxy设置为 localhost 端口为9050

然后发现blogspot.com可以访问了，虽然速度有些慢。

如此政策！(居住证转所谓上海户口)

今天在上海热线上看到下面的新闻，很是吃惊！

参与细则制定的核心人士向记者介绍，实施细则暂无公布的具体时间。不过，上海推行居住证是在2002年6月15日，而当年真正大规模发放居住证，是在七八月后，目前，并无人员能符合申办条件的首条即“持有《上海市居住证》满7年”。

如此政策怎能不让人吃惊呢？

国内网上银行的服务水准

用招行的网上信用卡对帐功能，输入了老半天，最后提交时，系统提示"系统忙，请稍后再试"。这个时候开始很想臭骂他们，后来有种无语的感觉。在这个动辄收费标准和国际接轨的年代，什么时候服务水准也能国际接轨？前面的路还有多长？这种问题的解决绝对不是技术上的问题，而是有没有从客户角度考虑问题，从服务提供者的立场出发，去做事情的问题。

招行起家的时候，作为第一个吃螃蟹的人，得到了不少甜头，也赢得了一些口碑，曾经有人觉得其服务相对其它的银行来说还是不错的。但经过这些年，回头看来有些原地踏步的感觉。所谓的"服务不错"，也只是矮子里面选出来的高个子罢了。现在招行还有什么优势？

到网上搜索一下，其网上银行技术水准遭到不少人的质疑。自己也算是IT人士，也一直对招行的某些所谓安全措施不敢苟同。当然比招行差的也不是没有，记不清是去年还是前年了，甚至碰到过银行网站证书非法的问题，那时候的第一感觉是震惊，接着是感觉到羞耻，然后就是不再望那家银行存一分钱。不想说那家银行的名字，但其也是规模巨大的国有银行哦！

坐而言不如起而行，口后广告震天响的年代，有多少银行真的花精力在改善服务水准上？

[ubuntu] rsync小技巧

rsync功能很强大，刚开始用的时候有些摸不着头脑。

有个项目的客户用他们的svn服务器提供资料，因此需要一个先checkout到本地，
再同期到服务器的脚本来做这件事。

同期处理自然是用rsync来实现。

尝试的时候发现一些小技巧记录如下。

1) SRC目录后的斜线（/）加和不加的区别

a) rsync -r dir-a dir-b
b) rsync -r dir-a/ dir-b

上面的命令执行后，
a) dir-a（包括自身）的子目录内容全部被拷贝到dir-b下面。

2) svn上checkout出来的目录里有许多.svn目录，这些不希望被同期到服务器上。
开始用--exclude的选项来控制，比如 --exclude="**/.svn/**"之类的，结果不管用，
后来经过一番尝试，改用--filter='exclude .svn'就可以了。

三鹿奶粉事件不是食品安全事件的第一例，但估计也不会是最后一例。
所谓的发达国家当年也有过类似的事情，当然现在似乎是没有了。

但无论如何三鹿难辞其咎。虽然其高层试图解释所谓的生产环节上面他们不能承担责任的那一环出了问题，还有所谓的证据。其实这种理由根本站不住脚，食品的安全当然是第一位的，没有能力控制食品的安全品质，那就不要做这个行业。

道德水平，职业操守，遵纪守法等等各个方面说起来，这些人渣都不应该享受公民的权利，不配为人。

三鹿的普通员工早点换地方吧，这样的企业关的越早越好。

　　在美国等西方发达国家，如果你的信用卡失窃了，你可一点也不必担心。美国法律有规定：信用卡被盗用，只要在失窃后（或盗用行为发生后）２４小时内进行了挂失，则无论被盗用的金额多大，持卡人只负担最高５０美元。英国也有类似的法律，规定持卡人最高负担５０英镑。其余部分，除非银行能证明商家有明显的过错，否则全部由银行负担。事实上，许多银行自觉执行的条款，比上述法律规定更为优惠。不但挂失时间大大放宽，连那５０美元的赔偿也由银行一并负担了。也就是说，银行用自己的信用，为所有信用卡消费进行了全额的担保。

看了"基于Web2.0的AJAX十大安全漏洞以及成因"这篇文章以后发现还有一段不近的距离。

如果基于对安全性有一定要求的中型以上规模的web应用，web2.0现在还不是一个好的选择。
